I sent the following to the Macvisionaries list and got no reply. I'm hoping that someone could help me, especially now that my Windows machine is shot (the adapter port is broken). Btw, I'm having a similar problem with Safari. it won't let me select files to upload on any site, including sending attachments on GMail. I'm wondering if another browser would be better to use or if there's a plug-in that would enable me to do this. Ok, onto that message.
> I was speaking with a friend on Adium and he asked me if the icon image was of me. I was unaware that I even had one up. When I went to the personal tab in preferences, I selected use no icon and he said it was still showing up. I'm assuming that this is the picture that I as made to take for my account. But when I went to change my icon to something else that I downloaded into the pictures folder, it was inaccessible. It wouldn't let me browse and select apicture from that folder. Furthermore, it took another picture of me! How can I delete these unwanted pictures, the ones that the Mac took? How can I change the one associated both with my account on the Mac itself and the one associated with Adium?
